Their defining bonus is Market trade at 5% fee instead of the standard fee (~30% in early game, decaying with distance) — combined with transports that sail 2x faster and carry 2x more, their economic identity is "I can always get the resources I need." Their military identity is a three-legged stool: Camel Rider + Heavy Camel (full line with Husbandry) handles enemy cavalry; Cavalry Archer with Parthian Tactics + Thumb Ring is one of the best in the game; and the Mameluke unique unit is a camel-mounted ranged-melee hybrid with massive bonus damage vs cavalry. They have full Hussar, Heavy Cavalry Archer, Hand Cannoneer, and Bombard Cannon in Imperial.     The Saracen Market bonus (5% fee) is the defining civ lever. Without a Market, you're a generic civ with below-average feudal bonuses. Market built at 17-18min Castle Age is mandatory.

    fix:Market is built within 2 minutes of Castle click. Always. Even if you don't trade, it's an unlock for mid-game flex.

    Trying to Mameluke castle drop before 1200 ELO

    Mameluke costs 85 gold — heavy gold commitment that requires macro the player doesn't have. Eco collapses, castle fails, game lost.

    fix:Stick to standard camel + CA Castle Age below 1200. Experiment with Mameluke only after core build stable.
